Fedorov was appointed Kirienko’s advisor

January 19 - Valery Fedorov, VCIOM General Director, was appointed advisor to the Deputy Head of Presidential Administration Sergei Kirienko on a voluntary basis.

The corresponding decree was signed the day before. Other 11 advisors on voluntary basis include Konstantin Kostin, Head of Foundation for Civil Society Development (previously Chief of Presidential Domestic Policy Directorate), Alexey Anisimov, Head of Executive Committee of All-Russia People's Front, (he headed the Putin’s election headquarters during the 2012 presidential elections), Mintimer Shaymiev, former president of Tatarstan, Sergey Mikhaylov, TASS General Director, Sergey Katyrin, President of Russian Chamber of Commerce, Sergey Zverev, President of Public Affairs & Public Relations Company “CROS”, Mikhail Kuzovlev, VTB Bank Vice-president, Dmitry Mednikov, VGTRK Deputy General Director, Alexander Oslon, Director of Public Opinion Foundation, and Igor Simonov, Chairman of Board of Directors of Mikhailov & Partners Group.
