Education:
Graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University (History Department, 1995).
Was awarded a PhD in Psychology in 2011 (Russian State Social University, major in Social Psychology).
Experience:
In 1992-1995 - worked as an Expert and, later, Head of Transactions Department at ZAO "FIN" Real Estate Secondary Market. In 1996 served as an external relations manager at the Centre for Political Trends (CPCR). In 1997 - 1998 - worked as a personnel recruitment consultant in NIPKC "SOEKON". In 1998 - 2003 was a Head of the "ELOTA recruitment and consulting" which is a part of trade and industry group "Gydro-Service" (in 2001 - 2002 Abramov held a position of Vice-President on HR there). Since 1998 till 2003 Konstantin Abramov has taken part in numerous consulting (including electoral) projects as a manager.
In 2003 Konstantin Abramov joined VCIOM team as Executive Director of the Center and in 2006 was appointed its First Deputy Director General. Since 2014 he became a Chairman of the Board of the Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM).

Member of the Expert Council on Application of the Legislation in Advertising by Federal Antimonopoly Service of RF (since 2004), member of the Supervisory Board of the Center for Strategic Innovations at Moscow State University (since 2005), member of the Advisory Council of the Federal Service on Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks (since 2006), member of Scientific and Expert Council of the National Financial Research Agency (NAFI)(since 2007).
Member of the Public Council by Moscow State Department of Interior, Member of the Ethics Board under the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development of the Russian Federation (since 2010), Member of the award panel for the Third and the Fourth "Best Army Psychologist" Contest held by the Russian Defense Ministry, Member of the Public Council by the Ministry of Internal Affairs (since 2012), Member of the Public Council by the Russian Ministry of Labor, Member of the Public Council by the Russian Security Services, Member of the Expert Council by the Moscow State Duma Security Committee (since 2013)
