Results of our studies

Moscow, November 29, 2007 Facing the parliamentary elections, Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) presents information concerning how the exit poll is going to be carried out.

The exit poll will be carried out at 1 200 polling districts in 57 regions of the country. At exits from polling stations, two interviewers will address the persons that have just voted with a question as to who they have just given their vote, they will also write down the respondent's age and sex.

As, according to the Russian legislation, it is forbidden to make the results of surveys like this public until 21:00, the party that requested the research (the First channel) will manifest its results a little after 21:00 on December, 2nd this year. From this time on the exit poll results will also be available at VCIOM's Internet page:
