Russian nationwide VCIOM-Sputnik surveys were conducted from April through June 2022. Russians aged 18 and older take part in the surveys. Up to June 17th 2018 a total of 1,000 respondets were surveyed on a daily basis in at least 80 Russian regions. Since June 18th  a total of 1,600 respondents are surveyed daily. A seven-day mean is given. Survey method: telephone interviews using stratified dual-frame random sample of landline and mobile telephone numbers. Sample is based on a complete list of telephone numbers in use in Russia. The margin of error for this random (probability) sample at a 95% confidence level does not exceed 1% for the data collected during seven days (11,200 interviewees). In addition to sampling error, minor changes to the wording of questions and different circumstances arising during the fieldwork can introduce bias into the survey.

The week June 20-26, 2022 surveys key effectiveness indicators: 1,601 complete interviews; cooperation rate (COOP1)* = 0.8026; minimum response rate (RR1)** = 0.0242; response rate (RR3)*** = 0.1830.

* The number of complete interviews divided by the sum of: а) complete interviews and b) non-interviews with eligible respondents.

** The number of complete interviews divided by the sum of: а) complete interviews, b) interrupted interviews after successful screening and c) all the telephone numbers where it is unknown whether the subscribers meet the selected criteria or not.

*** The number of complete interviews divided by the sum of: а) complete interviews, b) interrupted interviews after successful screening and c) all the telephone numbers with respect to the assessment of the percentage of eligible cases in the total number of cases of unknown eligibility.
