MOSCOW, November 14, 2007 Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) presents information concerning who Russians willing to partcipate in the elections on December 2nd, 2007 are intended to vote for in the elections to the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

During the last four months the majority of Russians - from 67,9% up to 75,8% planned to take part in the upcoming elections to the State Duma, of the Russian Federation the minimal value was recorded in September, the maximal one in November.

According to the data retrieved in the course of the survey that took place on November, 10-11th, three political parties - " Uniform Russia ", the Communist Party of the Russian Federation and LDPR - will overcome the seven-percentage barrier in elections to the State Duma.

Over one half of Russians, intending to come to the upcoming parliamentary elections, (59%) express their willingness to vote for "Unified Russia". This party is stably at the top of the electoral rating with other parties lagging far behind: 57-59% of active voters expressed their willingness to vote for it in August - September, in October its electoral support still grew to reach 66%, it increased again in November and now totals 59%.

The Communist Party of the Russian Federation occupies the second place in the rating. 6% to 9% of active voters were planning to vote for it during the last four months (with the average lying by 8%).

The third place now belongs to LDPR, supported by 5% to 7% of those who are planning to go vote (with the average equalling 6%).

The number of "Fair Russia" supporters among active voters has reduced from 7-8% in August - September down to 3-5% in October - November.

The Agrarian party of Russia, the Union of the right forces and "Yabloko" have all this time accumulated on the average 1% of the vote from the respondents, who are planning to participate in the elections to the State Duma; according to the state of affairs on November, 10-11th the Union of Right Forces enjoyed the support of 1,8%, "Yabloko" 1,4%, APR - 1,0%.

Electoral support of other parties participating in the upcoming parliamentary elections was as a rule below 1%. According to the survey carried out on November, 10-11th, the Democratic party of Russia had 0,4% of the respondents' vote; the Party of Social Justice - 0,5%, the Civilian Power - 0,9 %, "Patriots of Russia" - 1,2 %.

The initiative all-Russia opinion poll was conducted by VCIOM in August - November 2007. 1600 respondents were interviewed in 153 population areas of 46 regions of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3.4%.
