MOSCOW, March 15, 2010. Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) presents the data presenting the approval rating of President and Prime Minister, as well as electoral ratings of parties.
At the beginning of the spring the approval rating of the Russian President remained stable in comparison with previous month. Short fall of this rate during December 2009 - February 2010 (from 76 to 72%) paused - in the first week of March it was 73%. A year ago the approval rating of the President was 69%.
At the same time the approval ratting of the Russian Prime Minister began to rise. During December 2009 - February 2010 this rate fell from 79 to 73% and began to rise since spring (74%). A year ago it was 74% as well.
In the first week of March electoral rating of United Russia was 53% it is insignificant fluctuation in comparison with previous month (52% in February). In general this rate is stable (52054% during this year). In comparison with the rating of last March, there are no big changes (52%).
The most stable dynamic is showed by Communist Party. It is supported by 8% of respondents over a half of year. There were no fluctuations of the rate last year too (7-8%).
There are no big changes with Liberal and Democratic Party as well - 4-5% during 2010, 4% - a year ago.
The rating of Just Russia is stable as well: it was 3% in the first week of spring and 3-4% during the previous year.
The initiative Russian opinion poll was conducted on March 6-7, 2010. 1600 respondents were interviewed at 140 sampling points in 42 regions of Russia. The margin of error does not exceed 3.4 %.
