Moscow, November 14, 2007 Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) presents information concerning the degree of awareness that Russians possess in regard to the foundation of the movement "For Putin!" and how they estimate this association.

More than half of Russians (55%) are now already informed of the recently founded movement "For Putin!" This includes 12% who estimate that they know a lot about the movement, and 43% who have heard something about it but do not know the particulars.

Supporters of "Unified Russia" and "Fair Russia" are better informed of this association (60% each), than voters of LDPR (56%) and still more so than the voters of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (41%).

Every second respondent (50%) sympathizes with the movement "For Putin" and expresses his/her willingness to support this association. Every fifth respondent (21%) estimates his/her attitude to it as neutral and identifies that he/she is not willing to support them. 9% specify that they do not like the movement but they are not against other people supporting it. Just as many respondents (9%) think that the movement should be banned.

Respondents under 45 years express more sympathy to this movement and readiness to support it (54-59%), than older respondents (44-46%).

The initiative all-Russia opinion poll was conducted by VCIOM on November 9-10, 2007. 1600 respondents were interviewed in 153 population areas of 46 regions of Russia. The statistical error does not exceed 3.4%.
