26 November 2021. VCIOM presents the results of a survey among Russians on vaccination.
More than half of Russians (61%) are afraid that they or their family can get sick with the coronavirus (67% of the Moscow residents; 68% of the St Petersburg residents); 14% are confident that nothing will happen to them or their relatives.
More than half of Russians (54%) perceive positively mass vaccination against the COVID-19 (64% of the Moscow residents; 66% of the St Petersburg residents); about a third of Russians (30%) view it negatively; 12% are indifferent.
Forty-two percent of the surveyed Russians say they are vaccinated (48% of the Moscow residents; 44% of the St Petersburg residents); 27% would like to get vaccinated; 29% refuse to do it.
Half of Russians (51%) have received a QR code (70% of the Moscow residents; 62% of the St Petersburg residents); 48% have not received it.
Of those who received a QR code, only 5% faced difficulties (6% of the Moscow residents; 8% of the St Petersburg residents); 46% did not face any problems (64% of the Moscow residents; 55% of the St Petersburg residents); 49% are undecided.

Stratified dual-frame random sample based on a complete list of Russian landline and mobile phone numbers was used. The data were weighted according to selection probability and social and demographic characteristics. The margin of error at a 95% confidence level does not exceed 2.5%. In addition to sampling error, minor changes to the wording of questions and different circumstances arising during the fieldwork can introduce bias into the survey.
