Most of those who are going to take part in the State Duma elections have unfavorable views regarding the leaders of the Yabloko party list (12%).

The top five most popular leaders in the party lists are as follows: S. Shoygu (95%, United Russia), S. Lavrov (91%, United Russia), V. Zhirinovsky (96%, LDPR), T.Bulanova (80%, Rodina), G.Zyuganov (90%, KPRF).

In terms of positive perceptions of those who are going to cast their vote in the elections, the top five politicians include: S.Lavrov (73% of positive perceptions), S.Shoygu (69%), V.Zhirinovsky (44%), T.Bulanova (42%), and G.Zyuganov (41%).

Russian nationwide VCIOM-Sputnik survey was conducted on August 26, 2021. A total of 1,200 of Russians aged 18 and older took part in the survey. Results are based on telephone interviews. Stratified dual-frame random sample based on a complete list of Russian landline and mobile phone numbers was used. The data were weighted according to selection probability and social and demographic characteristics. The margin of error at a 95% confidence level does not exceed 2.8%. In addition to sampling error, minor changes to the wording of questions and different circumstances arising during the fieldwork can introduce bias into the survey.
