VIP-parade 2008 is the VCIOM`s eighth annual rating of the Russian elite commissioned by the Kommersant Publishing House. VIP-parade is a list of Russians called elite by not less than 0.5 % of Russian citizens.
The main idea of the “Eurasian monitor” project is a regular measurement of the basic social moods indicators of the CIS countries. The concept of the project basically adopts and develops the ideas of “Eurobarometer” which is a research program operating in EU.

Russian Public Opinion Research Center (VCIOM) monthly conducts construction of indices of social well-being.
Freedom of Speech Index
VCIOM launched a new research project “Freedom of speech in Russian regions”. The first research was conducted by VCIOM in Voronezh region from April 25 to May 16 2008.
Uniform state exam: knowledge, stereotypes, assessments
The analytical report is based on the data of sociological research conducted by VCIOM in the framework of the initiative project “”Modernization of the Russian Education System: Threats and Opportunities Mirrored by the Public Opinion”.
VCIOM is a member of the international sociological association Intersearch. The partnership with the Intersearch helps VCIOM conduct sociological research outside of Russia. The Intersearch was established in 1998.
“Support of Russia” (“Opora Rossii”)
Russian Public Organization of small and medium enterprises “Support of Russia” jointly with VCIOM conducts research aimed at studying the conditions that small enterprises are operating in across regions of Russia.
Assessment of Russian courts` performance
The assessment of judiciary system viewed by Russians is a key sign of the establishment of the institution of judiciary power as an accessible mechanism of legal protection in the country.
Assessment of higher professional education in Russia
Goal of project: designing the mechanism of monitoring and rating system of Russian higher education institutes. Mission: meet the demand of employers, university entrants and other groups that are interested in transparent, open and independent expertise of the Russian education system’s performance.
Residents of Moscow and Moscow region about the situation in real estate market
VCIOM presents the report based on the results of the initiative research conducted in Moscow and Moscow region and titled “The attitudes of the residents of Moscow and Moscow region towards the situation in real estate market”
Development of football in Russia
VCIOM together with National Academy of Football presents the report based on the All-Russian sociological survey “Factors and Perspectives of Development of Football in Russia” conducted in July 2006.
Russians on quality of housing and communal services
VCIOM presents the data acquired during the study “Russians about the Quality of the Housing and Communal Services”. The research was conducted July 21-22 2007. 1600 respondents were interviewed at 153 sampling points in 46 regions of Russia.

Since 2000 VCIOM and Zirkon Analytical Group have conducted the monitoring of financial behavior of Russians. In 2004 the annual report was devoted to the problems of credit and investment behavior of Russians.
