Consume but check up
September 2 – Valery Fedorov, VCIOM’s General Director, took part in the IV Tula Media Forum “This steadily changing world:  a look at the future of regional journalism”.
V. Fedorov presented a study devoted to the evolution of media consumption in recent years. The traditional media, first of all television, are losing their influence. This is seen through the reduced media consumption by youth and declining public trust in information proposed by this type of media. Most of Russians consider that the most objective reporting deals with the coverage of natural disasters, and the least objective one concerns the economic situation in the country.
