Born May 7, 1972 in Nevinnomyssk of the Stavropol region. He graduated from the Department of Philosophy of the Saint-Petersburg State University with a diploma in political science (1995) and a post-graduate diploma on “Political Institutes and Processes” (1998).
In 1997-2002 he was a lecturer at the Department of Political Institutions and Applied Political Studies, Faculty of Philosophy SPSU; simultaneously in 1999-2002 he was Deputy Head of the Centre for Empirical Political Research at the SPSU; in 2001-2002 he was a member of the Dissertation Council on Political Science. In 2002-2004 he served as the president of non-commercial partnership “Resources for Public Communications (Respublika)”. From 2004 he has been VCIOM`s Development Director. Since 2006 he has served as an advisor to VCIOM`s General Director.
He is the author of more than 20 scientific publications.
He has PhD in Sociology (1998).
